Feedback After the Second Team Workshop at Day of Dialogue in the Academy for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Washington University
  • "It was a pleasure to have spoken with you and attended the “Influences that Move Culture Change” workshop. In particular, I really enjoyed learning about historical events that shaped our university into what we see today. With the help of events like Day of Dialogue, we can continue to move forward to get to where we need to be in terms of being genuinely inclusive, intentional and mindful about the struggles of one another. Faculty and staff from Washington University attend the Day of Dialogue Academy for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion workshops. They interacted creatively with a timeline of Washington University's history, situated in St. Louis history, developed with and for the Academy by Sarah Hobson and Adam Layne. They drew on an Academy developed framework that helped them explore Washington University's past in the context of learning how to make change in their own departments.
